Information about the base
Renowned as one of the most prestigious marinas in the Mediterranean, Marina Mandalina offers an opulent sanctuary for seafarers. Boasting over 350 berths and state-of-the-art facilities, it goes beyond being a mere docking space – it's a haven where modern luxury meets the timeless elegance of the Adriatic. The marina's strategic location at the entrance of the Šibenik Channel provides easy access to some of the most scenic sailing routes in Croatia.
Upon entering Marina Mandalina, sailors are greeted by a world-class infrastructure that includes upscale restaurants, bars, and shops. The marina's commitment to excellence is further exemplified by its dedicated concierge services, ensuring a seamless experience for every visitor. With meticulous attention to detail and a focus on creating a luxurious atmosphere, Marina Mandalina sets the stage for an unforgettable sailing holiday.
D-Marin Mandalina is well protected in the bay of Sv. Petar south of the center of Sibenik, the oldest town in Croatia.
Breakwaters protect the marina with its 350 berths on the water and another 50 berths on land from winds such as the Bura and Jugo.
All berths are of course equipped with water and electricity connections.
The marina is easily accessible both by car and by plane from the two international airports of Zadar and Split. Bus connections and car rental are offered.
The historic town of Sibenik can be reached from the marina on foot, by car, bus or taxi boat.
Culture enthusiasts can expect a breathtakingly beautiful city with the two UNESCO World Heritage Sites:
St. Jacob's Cathedral
This Gothic-Renaissance beauty was built in the 16th century and boasts a 32m high dome. The cathedral is said to be the largest church in the world built entirely of stone - without any binding materials or wood.
St Nikola
the elegant Renaissance fortress at the entrance to the beautiful canal of St. Ante, which connects the town of Sibenik with the open sea. Built in the 16th century to defend the city from the sea, it is one of the last three such fortresses in the Mediterranean.
In terms of culinary delights, the marina and the city leave nothing to be desired. You will be very well looked after in the many traditional taverns, restaurants and cafes.
You have shopping possibilities in the marina (Konzum) or in the 3 shopping centers including discounters (approx. 800m away).
There are many more shops in the city center. A fresh produce market takes place every morning south of the old town.
The marina is equipped with a reception, sanitary facilities, parking lot, ATM, laundry, 1.5t crane & 50t travel lift, repair service, maintenance service & much more for ships up to a length of 100m and is constantly guarded.
The only marina in Croatia that has received five golden anchors is D-Marin Mandalina. Marinas awarded five gold anchors have passed a rigorous external audit of their facilities, operations and customer care.
